Our story
From local farms to global markets
CODICAO SA is an Ivorian cocoa company headquartered in San-Pédro, Côte d’Ivoire. Our journey began in 1985 with the purchase of cocoa beans directly from local farmers and agricultural cooperatives across Côte d’Ivoire.
With more than 40 years of sourcing experience, we have built a strong network of producers and a reputation for reliability and quality. In 2017, CODICAO became an international exporter of conventional and certified cocoa beans. Today, we combine decades of sourcing expertise with modern processing facilities, professional logistics and two strategic warehouse sites to serve customers around the world.

Attie Samir founded CODICAO with a simple conviction: that Ivorian cocoa, sourced directly from the farmers who grow it, deserves a trusted path to the world’s markets. From the plantations of Côte d’Ivoire to international buyers, he continues to lead the company with a hands-on commitment to quality, transparency and lasting partnerships.
